Hello library friends and followers! The Library wishes to thank all the generous donors in our community who provide used books for our Friends of the Alcona County Library, Inc. book sales, which are a vital source of funding for Library events and programs.
At the present time, we are out of space for storing more donated materials. With winter coming and the opening date of our new Caledonia / Hubbard Lake branch approaching, we’ve decided to announce a pause on accepting book donations at all Alcona County Library branches, effective through March 15, 2025.
We’re sorry if this causes any inconvenience, and we hope you understand! We look forward to clearing lots of space in the Spring so we can re-instate donations.
