Thornapple Woodlands Fine Art of Fishing

July 8 @ 11:00 am

Many people have an interest in taking up the sport of fishing but do not know where to start. This seminar will help participants feel confident about their choices of an all-around fishing rod and reel, fish line strength needed and hook size or lure choices for the types of fishing they will be doing. The program covers the basics of fishing for panfish (bluegills, sunfish, crappie and perch etc.) to larger species like bass and pike. There will be casting, knot tying, and fish cleaning tips as well as information on where fish hang out during different times of the year. All these topics and more will be covered in an educational and enjoyable presentation by Don Snoeyink, a lifelong lover of fishing with over 50 years of fishing experience. This seminar is designed for ages 12 and up.
